TPO Uganda commemorates World Refugee Day – June 20th

TPO Uganda joined other partners to commemorate World Refugee Day on June 20^th at the national celebrations held in Palabek Refugee Settlement – Lamwo. This year, focus rested on honouring the strength of all refugees and recognizing all progressive refugee approaches aimed at ensuring safety and restoring hope for refugees. Some of the TPO Uganda beneficiaries showcased several Mental Health and Psychosocial support (MHPSS) approaches that have enabled them to recover from depression, anxiety and other related mental health challenges. There were also several other field commemorations in Kyaka, Kiryandongo and other refugee settlements.
