TPO Uganda hands over vehicles to KCHS partners to facilitate OVC work
TPO Uganda Country Director Mr. Patrick Sambaga handed over two new vehicles to Masaka Diocesan Medical Services (MDMS) and AVSI Foundation as implementing partners under the USAID’s Keeping Children Healthy and Safe Activity (KCHS). The vehicles are meant to facilitate HIV/AIDS prevention and child protection work among OVC’s in central and south western Uganda. This was on the sidelines of a press briefing held at the TPO Uganda head office to showcase key achievement highlights of the USAID’s KCHS over the three years of implementation. Since 2020, TPO Uganda has been and continues to implement the five-year USAID/PEPFAR funded programme in up to 25 districts of South Western and Central Uganda. Over the last 30 months, the activity has made significant contributions towards achieving the UNAIDS 95:95:95 goal to end HIV/AIDS by 2030.
