Mr. Kakaire Julius

Mr. Julius Kakaire is a Certified Public Accountant with over 13 years’ experience in financial management, strategic planning, donor reporting, and operational leadership. He currently serves as Head of Finance and Operations at TPO Uganda, where he oversees financial strategy, a Member of Senior Management Team, donor compliance, budget management, and operational efficiency. He holds an MBA, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance. Previously, Julius was Senior Accountant at the Medical Research Council, Uganda Virus Research Institute and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Research Unit where he managed multi-donor funded projects, statutory compliance, internal controls, and financial operations across field substations in Uganda. He has also held senior finance roles at SOS Children’s Village Uganda and Roofings Limited. A proactive problem-solver and team player, Julius is passionate about driving organisational growth through sound financial governance and operational excellence.
