TPO Uganda is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that has been delivering services to vulnerable communities in Uganda since 1994. TPO Uganda has been committed to empowering communities affected by armed conflict and other natural and manmade disasters to meet the protection needs, psychosocial, mental health wellbeing and to improve livelihoods. TPO Uganda has over the years grown into a respectable national NGO with a demonstrable track record in over 55 districts as at January 2023. TPO is currently operating in the regions of Acholi, Lango, Teso, Karamoja, sub regions, Rwenzori, Southwest, West Nile, and central region. The organisation works with both in the Humanitarian and in the development settings (refugee hosting and non-refugee hosting) districts in Uganda
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will enhance the effectiveness of KCHS project interventions; by initiating a process of mainstreaming results-based monitoring and evaluation into all its operations at District Level. This will include clearly articulated results and a Monitoring and Evaluation plan that details the key indicators with targets and baselines as well as data collection and reporting arrangements
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the implementation of M&E system at District Level
- Program Performance Reporting and Documentation at District level
- Spearhead Data Utilization at District for Data Driven Interventions at Household and Community level
- Program Data/client information protection (Confidentiality)
- Lead on Routine Data Quality Assurance (DQA) and Service Quality Assurance (SQA) periodic reviews.
Person Specifications:
- The holder should possess a Bachelor’s degree preferably in B. Stat, BSc (Econ), BSc (Stat), Quantitative Economics, B. Population Studies or any other relevant degree.
- A post Graduate in Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage
Experience
- At least three year’ experience in a similar field preferably in an NGO environment.
- Basic understanding of excel and data analysis
- Experience with HIV/OVC case management data is a must
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
